Adi was both Israeli and Canadian with a strong connection and fondness for her Canadian roots. Her and Anani were also proud Israelis, passionate about the land of Israel.
On the morning of October 7th, Adi was home alone with her two children as terrorists broke into her kibbutz. When she realized that her family was in grave danger, she called her partner Anani and asked him for instructions on how to use the weapon that was in their home, while warning him not to return home. Adi guarded her children in the safe room, and reminded them how much she loved them. At the same time, she sent warning messages to her father, who had been visiting the kibbutz and was staying in a guest house nearby. In doing so, she saved his life.
Adi was a quiet and wise leader, who lived her whole life with humility. She died as a heroic fighter protecting her family.
May her memory be blessed.
